Loaded Dice: Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Jilly Bean Studios (“we,” “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with Loaded Dice (the “Game”), including the Android application and the version playable in a web browser. By installing or playing the Game, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect, receive, store or process any personal information through the Game. The Game does not require or offer an account or sign-in, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking technologies. The Game does not transmit information about you, your device or your gameplay to us or to any third party.

We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise share personal information, because we do not collect any.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

To provide its features, the Game stores the following information locally on your device:

• the run in progress, so that it may be resumed;
• gameplay statistics (such as runs played, wins and best scores) and a record of in-game items discovered; and
• your Game settings (such as animation, sound, vibration and display preferences).

This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us. You may delete it at any time by uninstalling the application or by clearing the site data in your web browser. If you use a device backup service, such as Android backup to your Google account, that service may include this information in its backups, subject to its provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

4. Sharing Initiated by You

The Game allows you to share a summary of a daily run. If you choose to do so, the Game provides a short line of text (the date, the number of rounds cleared and the points scored) to your device’s share function or clipboard. You determine whether and where that text is sent. The Game sends nothing on your behalf.

5. Third-Party Services

Google Play. If you obtain the Game from Google Play, your download and installation are handled by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. Google provides us, through the Google Play Console, with aggregated statistics (such as the number of installations and uninstallations and the countries, device models and Android versions in use) and with crash reports that include technical details, such as the device model and Android version, but do not identify you. Ratings and reviews you submit on Google Play are public and are displayed under the name associated with your Google account.

Web hosting. The browser version of the Game is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may log visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes in accordance with GitHub’s Privacy Statement. We do not receive or have access to those logs.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

6. Device Permissions

The Android application uses your device’s vibration function to provide haptic feedback, which you may disable in the Game’s settings. The Game does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files or accounts.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Game does not collect personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we introduce any feature that collects information, such as advertising or cloud saves, we will update this Policy before that feature becomes available, and we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Policy.
